that's way too much pump. you're going to heat the fuel when it circulates excessively. unless you lower the voltage supplied. I've had experience with aeromotive external pumps. they DON'T like being run dry so take that into consideration when mounting.
what's the output of the stock pump?
I think it would be much better to use a walbro intank pump. they are OEM quality and will last a long time.
