Hi,
Welcome to the S'pore thread.
Websites related to motorcycle in S'pore:
http://www.singaporebikes.com/ --- General website for all kind of motorcycling (track days, touring, meet ups, etc)
http://main.slackriders.com/index.php --- Very specific to dirt trail/motocross/motard..
As for riding gear, it all depends on how much you value your life.
Most riders here tend to value their lives less, so they wear slippers, a pair of shorts, t-shirts and ill fitting helmets as the minimum riding gear. Very suitable for a hot climate like mostly what you would see in third world countries.
But there are some educated riders who would wear a good fitting helmet, gloves, a decent pair of boots that covers the ankle bones, a pair denim pants and jacket as the minimum riding gear.
Life is more precious than smelling badly (simple solution is to carry around a small bottle of body deodorant)..
So you make your choice...

So... one of my top concerns was riding in Singapore... What are some websites where I can find bikes for sale? What gear do people wear in the heat?!? I have leathers here, but can't imagine wearing those in Singapore!
Cheers!
