I agree, I was a faithful Yamaha rider back in my racing days but since they don't bring the bikes to the US that I want to ride screw em! I called several times about the 660 Tenere and the people answering the phone didn't even know what the hell I was talking about, and as far as I can tell Yamaha USA doesn't have a email address that is published.
I now ride a Husky TE610E and a Cagiva Gran Canyon 900 (ducati) I have become an devoted Italian bike lover. If they brought it to the states I'd have a look but all they want to sell is cruisers and crotch rockets. You would think they would realize there is a huge market of the off road riders from the early '70s that would be interested in a bike like this....
