I now ride a Husky TE610E and a Cagiva Gran Canyon 900 (ducati) I have become an devoted Italian bike lover. If they brought it to the states I'd have a look but all they want to sell is cruisers and crotch rockets. You would think they would realize there is a huge market of the off road riders from the early '70s that would be interested in a bike like this....
it comes down to the japanese had the right bikes before their time & then got screwed on poor sales.
honda w/ the transalp, yami w/ the tdm.
since then japanese companies have become much more conservative and have a group thinking mentality. i give yami credit for actually breaking out of that mold on many fronts, let's hope they give the us another shot!
