The closest I ever came to owning a POS was my 99KLR. It was in decent shape, but poor brakes, low power, and weak suspension made me sell it after only about 3000 miles.
Besides, I had an R1100GS at the time, and it could do most of what the KLR could, and a lot more otherwise.
