There's Kreem of course, but you really want to start that process (assuming 3 step) after getting most of the junk out - I've had good success with batches of nuts held together by zip-ties and some acid or just oil. The problem is the mess, and what you do with all the crap you 'flushed' out. Not to mention keeping chemicals off the paint (if it is nice.)
