Old?

I don't think I'm actually OLD just now, but I'm probably looking at maybe
approaching borderline oldishness in a few years, perhaps. To get all
chronometrically hyperprecise, I'm 65, but it doesn't seem to make much
difference in the saddle. Well, maybe my judgement has matured somewhat.
This makes for more fun and less catastrophe, which I don't mind.

One perk of impending seniority is that when I take off my helmet the LEO
sees someone old enough to be his father, or maybe grandfather. On more
than one occasion this has resulted in a warning instead of a performance
award.

No complaints.
