I have owned my 81 Honda CX500 since I was 15. I am now 40 and still ride it. My bike was originally same color as your friends- two tone blue. I found a red set back about 10 years ago. I wish I could find the hard luggage that he has on his for mine. I have a new 09 Kawasaki Versys but still love to ride the old CX. I kept hoping you would mention what you guys found wrong with his bike. Inquiry minds wanna know. Mine ran similar to that when my airbox intake boots rotted out.
