I'm with you on this. I would pay more for a US-built bike if it suited my riding needs. I could care less if it has a gazzilion HP and a gazzilion ft/lbs of torque, either. If it has good ergonomics, the claimed 500lb weight qouted earlier in this thread, and makes around 100HP/80+ft/lb of torque i'd be happy to support them.

too bad I just purchased a street-triple so they might have to wait a few years before I can justify a new bike purchase.
