I'm afraid if they try to wave back, they may lose concentration of their mega cc Crotch Rockets, so I try not to cause them to take their hands off the bars... The same goes for some Harley riders... It's just best if they don't wave...
(Actually I thought light was about to change and could not let go with left hand...)
