I did a little work on the R1150RT today.

First thing I did was to install a Kaoko throttle lock.

The stock grip -



And with the easily installed Kaoko -



After I got that done I removed the wheels and then the left side plastics to pull the battery (to be tested) -



I had the battery tested at Checker Auto and the tester said it was ok, so I decided to get a trickle charger and an powerlet male connector to hook to the bike.

I took the wheels over to Woody's Wheel Works and dropped them off with a set of new Bridgestones to be mounted.

Then I stopped by Performance Cycle and bought a Powerlet plug -



I also picked up an inexpensive trickle charger at Wal Mart for $21 -



Then I picked up the wheels at Woodys and headed home to put it all back together.

I also changed the oil and filter and put the trickle charger on for the evening.
