Nice - I'm liking the red version.
So anyway, I pulled the trigger on a used 09. Bought it from a fellow in Denver, CO.
Bought a one way ticket from LAX to DEN. Flew out this past Saturday morning. Flight left LAX at 6:25am, arriving in Denver at 9:45am. Seller picked me up from the airport. We went over the bike, completed the transaction, had lunch and I was outta there by 1pm
Took Hwy 70 west, through White River NP
to Green River, then south on Hwy 24 to Torrey Pines where I stayed overnight. Next morning I took Hwy 12 through Capitol Reef NP, Escalante, and Bryce Canyon. Then the 89 to the 9 through Zion NP, Hurricane and onto the 15 to Vegas. Coming through Mesquite, my OAT gauge read 117 degrees
Next morning was a straight freeway shoot to home - got to rabbit a guy in an M5 most of the way to make record time
1156 miles covered.
