I've straightened Jesses and racks a couple of times. Best way to straighten them is with a 6 to 8 inch tall hydrolic jack (2 to 6 ton jack). One secret is to use a piece of wood to make contact with the metal, and slowly pump the jack as you watch the straightening. Best to take out all the bolts before hand.

So my bike fell over on its right side (brake side) due to a flat rear tire and now the right pannier bracket is bent in to the point that it prohibits me from opening the gas cap when the pannier is on. Any easy way to bend the bracket back out to its normal position?
