Well i need some knowledge(again, again and again).

I´ve got some thoughts about the higher gearing on the RC8R vs the old LC8. I have a scale were i can calculate external gearing(front and rear).
I know that the secondary gearing on RC8 is 17:37 and the LC8 is 17:42.
If i´m right I can´t just compare those...ehh? I guess i have to know the primary gearing as well to make any reasoneble comparing?

RC8R: Primary - 40:76 Secondary - 17:37
LC8 : Primary - 67:35 Secondary - 17:42
