The Caribou bags have been a pain. Side loading, enough said there. If they are very lightly loaded they seem to close ok, but with anything other than that they are a PITA. The lids flex at the hinges if you have to 'squish' a bit so they can be weird to close, and almost every strap or piece of anything, including the lid tension strap seems to get in the way of closing. ..at night in the rain they are a royal pain.
If you don't have them I'd recommend $3.00 mosquito nets (from WallyWorld) will be order in a few hundred miles...I found mosquitoes the hardest part of the entire trip. My sign at Watson Lake is below the "Caution" sign.
