I am going to look at 2 rovers today. Both are said to be (fairly) rust free that sat many years in a barn out west. They are 61 and 63. The 63 is the nicer vehicle and the guy is asking $2500. He claims its all there and the floorboards and firewall has no rust.

I do know they had aluminum bodies and some had galvanized chasis.

I will hope to get the rig and either put a 6cylinder diesel or possibly a small v8 gas motor.

What should I look out for? Am I nuts? He has info for some parts resources in the states, and a complete driveline for sale also for $600.

I will be either getting a rover or willys as soon as I can find the right 1.
