Thats what I tried to tell the guy, but he insisted it needs it. Really makes you wonder what exactly they do on a 600 mile service, if anything? I just want the bike gone over... already told them to skip the oil/filter change (since I do that) and focus on making sure everything is tight, brakes adjusted, and stuff I don't feel comfortable doing.
I think I'll tell him to skip the valve check.
