I like your way of doing things with the opportunity to feel alone yet riding with others. There are may places in the west as well as other areas where being alone is the only way to really experience it to it's fullest.
The nice thing about winter is people have time to write ride reports about their great adventures during the riding season and I have time to read those reports.
