The
Grande Dixence dam - the thing was just too damn big to get a shot of in its entirety. It is the highest-altitude gravity dam in the world.
To give you an idea of the scale: the faint little white strands on top of the dam are flagpoles, each about 10m in height. The dam itself is 285 meters high, situated at an altitude of 2365 meters.
