After some lunch in Blowing Rock, we headed down Pilot Ridge and over through Old House Gap.
A follow up on the honey: one of those suitcases had the queen in it, and we blew her out onto the ground.
She may be back in the hive. Time to get busy with the honey.

The sourwood is not looking particularly promising this year. I keep hoping that that cold snap shut them down for a week.
