As with cars, aren't new model years usually started after summer break? This is going to be MY 2012 for the V-Strom so the timing of introduction seems right on. It'll take a while before they start arriving at dealers so perfectly in time for next season. And in many southern states and southern Europe, riding season is much longer or all year long.
