They've just announced their '12 motocross models.
Motorcycle USA speculates it will be a face-lifted "more of same."

The latest teaser images of the Suzuki Middle-class new Motorcycle reveals a few key components that seem to clarify what we can expect from this motorcycle. First of all the close-up image of the front cowling and headlight looks so similar to the V-Strom 650 that we tend to think this is a freshened up version of Suzuki’s middleweight adventure touring bike.
Further evidence supporting this theory is the clear shot of the front of the motorcycle. Here you can clearly see the V-Twin engine and the signature oil filter hanging low and in front of the engine case behind the front wheel. This is the same layout as the last V-Strom 650 engine as you can see in the comparison images below. The spindly standard front fork reveals a low-budget approach to the bike’s suspension which also favors the notion that this is an updated version of the budget-minded V-Strom 650.
The last piece of evidence that eliminates any hope of this new motorcycle having off-road tendencies is the front fender and street-oriented tires. So, we suspect Suzuki is reviving the Wee-Strom with a face lift but we are still waiting for verification and details from Suzuki.
It's funny in a way they describe the front forks as "spindly" when the 575lb HD Sportster has 39mm forks.
