this is gonna be fun. 2 newbies building 2 strokes. let the flurry of questions begin! here's a secret. it's not just air/fuel/spark. it's really about timing, squish, and a multitude of other factors. anyone can make a 2 stroke run. it takes skill to make one run well. it's a fine line between running perfect and blowing up. there is nothing like a well tuned 2 stroke. it's a steep learning curve, but at least you're building bikes with easy to get parts. (r5/ds7 pistons are VERY difficult to source. and expensive. i highly recommend you use rd stuff.) you should be reading the gordon jennings book (and the other one - i forget the name) now.
