got the scoop today on some forthcoming items from our favorite maker of sport motorcycle gear, Alpinestars, or as alpeeene-stars, as they say in italy.

the main feature- the alpinestars tech 8 is being re-done and re-released as an all new boot. much lighter in weight and much less concrete feel to them, the boot is more flexible than previous eights and the sole is extra grippy. per astars, the sole of the tech 8 boot is taken from the rubber compound of Pirelli's rally racing tires. cool. this brings this boot more in the range of dual-sport riders than before.
