They sorted out the EFI on the Husburgs (that KTM owns) years ago. So, 2012 will be the fourth? year with the same EFI.

I can't wait for EFI on a street legal trail bike. Been holding off for a couple of years. No more guessing on the choke settings, no more dirty float needles puking gas, no more re-jetting for high desert vs sea level, clean low end torque, much better mileage.

Anyone look up the price of a Keihin FCR 41 MX carb from KTM? Try $850!!

We added up all the parts for the Keihin FI that comes on the 350XC, that's the pump, injector, fuel rail, sensors, throttle body, everything. Total = $650! These are retail prices in the USA.
