My next destination was the Petrified Forest National Park
. The forest of stone is a wonderful scene for a nature photographer.
Pictures are very saturated by itself - I didn't do anything in Photoshop. The sun is very harsh here and I forgot my polarized filter at home.

I can result all scientific geological calculation about which I have learned here how this forest has transformed into the stone, but I think it'll be boring.

The entrance cost to any National Park is $25. But I bought an annual pass to the all US National Parks for $100. Way cheaper than paying individually.
