Here in Oregon, fall is already showing signs of its arrival. Despite rain in the forecast, instead of driving I took the Tiger for a weekend on the coast.
Not too bad.
As soon as I crossed the coast range on the way back, it was dry and sunny. And I came upon this dirt road.
It was not the first time I took it down a gravel route. But it served to remind me that this is a very well tuned machine. Its smooth engagement on acceleration and braking translate for good behavior on loose surfaces like this ball-bearing gravel road. I did not push it on the curves, but the few times I rolled on the throttle with a bit more enthusiasm it showed composure. And on a straight line the bike settles down very, very well. The original tires hold well.
