in Virginia. First time on a ferry, temperature outside was 28 degrees and I didn't know the heated gear was a direct feed from the battery. So, battery died, and this being a F650GS, battery is under the fairing requiring lots of screws to be removed to get to it. Thank goodness my husband carries the necessary tools for this sort of thing. So, we rode the ferry to Jamestown, back to Scotland and back to Jamestown. Go me!!!
