20" wheels sound great but I think I would have to limit the fork travel internally to around 3 " or less to allow the use of them.
The 16" wheels are still rolling over stuff better than any ttr50 or crf50 . I would like to save 20 pounds on the bike, but I want it to be safe also. Lipo sounds like a lot of work to maintain and may take the fun out of owning an oset for a kid.
Lipos are available from HobbyKing. I have used 10cell/5Ah zippy packs in a 2s2p configuration for 37v/10Ahr. These easily lasted for an entire one day event. Currently they have 8Ah packs available. At 30c all you would need is 2 5cell packs for a 36 volt bike and one 6cell pack for a 24v bike. I have done several write ups on this topic and Chris posted some of this info on trials central linked here http://www.trialscentral.com/forums/...on-directions/

20 inch wheels do require that the swing arm be lengthen 1.5 inches and you would loose 1.5 inches of available travel in the front with your current fork setup. The trade off is well worth it as the 20 wheel has a much better rollover of small rocks.

I have pics of a 20 inch bike here http://s1205.photobucket.com/albums/...20Inch%20OSET/
