Yup, thats the campground owned and run by the town of Eustis....Nice, clean place...but lots of peeps.
Here's my low tech route map over Flagstaff:
Here's another view of that gyrocopter we saw in Bingham
You could have one too...yank the engine outa that old snowmobile sitting out behing your barn, a couple of 1970's school lunch room chairs, a bicycle hand brake, that hydraulic pump off the old log splitter you don't use anymore...bolt it all down to a 4X4 plank with a coupla wheels.....bon voyage
On the other side of Bingham we hopped on the Deadwater Road which leads to quite a bit of riding and to Moxie Lake where we camped for the night
Fortunately for us, Tyrebitr stopped in the apothecary's for a slider when we were in town...
High quality stuff...and I love that plastic flask...just forgot the cigars...damn
We survived the night and headed to the mayhem...
The staging area for the Kennebec River rafting trip.
We were just about to get told by the warden there, that we had to park somewhere on the other side of the fence.
The busses and people started to arrive:
And they jockeyed for position
A loud horn blows as warning to anybody down river that the river was about to quadruple in flow
The generator and (dam I assume) is owned by Florida Light and Electric....who'da figured that one?
