Check Harbor Freight's site. They have an 400 AMP clamp that is a big improvement over the stocker. Having a poor ground will often give crap results. There are some write-ups on the conversion on weldingweb.com.

I said Miller on the wire, but I might have meant Lincoln. In either case, it is a significant improvement over the stock HF flux core.
