Had a session on the spanners today at my mates house. The Velo in the foreground is being rebuilt after being in bits for years. We used to take it for a thrash 30 odd years ago when his dad went out. We finally owned up a few years back and told him, fortunately he saw the funny side of it. he passed away a couple of years ago so nice to keep the memories alive every now and then.

Same bike different colour 25 years ago - Commandos seem to be long term keepers more than any other machine I've come across.
