Copper Harbor
- High Rock Bay 47.427453, -87.713896 ; eastern most point of the Keweenaw. Not to bad of a ride, I had my V45 Sabre and a buddies FJ1200 out here before they improved the roads. No fee-state land

Eagle River/Harbor
-Great Sand Bay 47.43817,-88.22583 ; nice bay, NW exposure = bad during storms. This is guerilla camping. M-Dot just put in a privy/parking lot. You can get away with pitching a tent in the woods or along the lake shore to catch some zzzz's Don't plan on spending the whole weekend in one spot. Easy access of M-26 No fee.

-Gratiot River County Park 47.341 -88.4514 ; Nice lake shore camping. NW Exposure. Several sites. No fee. Easy access on well packed stamp sand roads.

-No Name Pond 47.346854,-88.276709 ; Nice little pond in a glacial bowl. Located about 5 mi north of Mohawk of Theiler Road. Primitive camping located on a pond sometimes stocked with brook trout by the DNR. Access is easy on well maintained logging roads. No fee.

Marquette County

-Tourist Park 46.568263,-87.410077 Definitely city camping. Close to town, bath room facilities have always been clean. Staff is friendly. Decent fly fishing in the Dead River right at camp for salmon and steelhead smolts, makes for an entertaining afternoon. Fee varies. UPPCO has a gas turbine peaker station located about a half mile away. Not quiet but not too obnoxious.
