Thank you. That I spent quality time with him before he died has always been a comfort.

It's amazing how you can discover more about a place with a bike. Prior to getting the bike I hadn't been on many of these roads since I was a child.

It is in fact a viaduct. Apparently an old railway bridge. Here is a little website with some other photos.
