Gerlach: It's cool to ride across the dry lake bed. Head towards Trego ditch for a soak. The water is scalding where it comes out clear and cools as it heads away from the RR tracks. That area though is closed during the BM gathering and for a few weeks after. Also Fly Geyser is in that general area. You have to view it though a zoom lens as the property is posted.
