The cover comes off the OEM pump quite easily for inspection of the contacts.
If yours are showing "peaks and valleys" then I'd suggest you rip it out
now before it strands you. My OEM did...luckily it was not far from home and the truck ride was short.
Good advice on that. I'll have to find out if the XRV650 uses the same pump part number as the XRV750. I know flow rates and such can vary.
Hey, my fuel pump part number is 16710-MS8-005
(this number could be an old number that has been superseded though). Is this the same part number for the fuel pump on your XRV750?
