Let me make it clear, I wouldn't be back down there again
. But, in hindsight going back the way we came in would have been easier than the way we went out to the north. Not easy, but easier.
However, going in past the 2 washouts that Markar took seems like the best route in by far (from the cozieness of my office). That is mostly because you go up about 300-400' less in elevation to get to the point we turned around (washout) versus the north side of the bayou, or Bidville.
Terry'd know that better, since he road out (on a 4 wheeler) that way.
