For the record though, I changed time zones (TX-NM). My overall average speed was 73 mph. I made the trip on one tank, so I didn't stop anywhere along the way, and there are very few towns that required me to slow down. And yes... out here in flat West Texas I do generally run in the 80 m.p.h. ballpark.
