I just got a call from JCR to prepare 3000 km of roadbooks for the guys to use to test the new bikes over here in a month or so. Seems they are serious about getting the bugs worked out in some tough terrain while having some good roadbook navigation practice at the same time. So, for those of you who have ridden the popular Pahrump Loops, it looks like we'll have Helder and the others doing the same stuff in a few weeks. Poor guys are going to really suffer with nasty heat that time of year! To get the requested 3000 km, I'll have to pull together almost all of the DVR stages, including the high-elevation (9600ft, 3000m) stuff from the Bishop-Dumont stage.
One more thing, apparently they are full-on HRC bikes (not adapted from other rally kits).
