Yes, that's the idea. There will be a Garmin Adventures Website where you can "share" your Adventures. In addition, each Adventure can be Exported as a GPX file. Keep in mind that any Garmin "Adventure-specific" data will not be usable by other GPS devices that are not Adventure-aware.
Adventures are a GDB database and therefore BaseCamp will, at v4, support multiple databases - as long as they are Adventures.
Looking forward to playing around with this but will have to use the Windows
version until they release a new beta of the Mac version (currently, the beta will not run on my Mac).
UPDATE: Mac version is now running on my MBAir. Seems there is an issue with the "Unlisted Data" feature so I had to use another one if my databases.
