hi, just thought i might "chime " in with some gripes ive got with the s 10.
1/ spoke design is poor . they can fall out to do major damage to the swing-arm or front fork tubes and brake-lines.
if not check on a regular basis.
2/ the standard rear shock is shit. dampening is all wrong and it fades when pushed hard.
3/ the steering head bearings come loose way too often. say every 300k's of rough off-road riding.
4/ last but not least, the ome heated hand grips have a major design fault in the r/h wiring set up. in short , the wiring cable rubs through the insulation (as you twist your throttle) and shorts out on the inside of the throttle housing. thus blowing the fuse and rendering your $550.00 + accessory useless.
now would i buy another s 10 ?????????? f$%K yeh
with all its failing it still the coolest thing to ride on road or off.
