You might want to ask in the Indy MotoGP thread (
clicky) as several of the people in that thread are attending the Indy Mile. My experience with the Sacramento Mile is that high in the grandstand on the front straight is best for seeing the entire track although seeing the bikes go by up close is unforgettable. I don't know what infield access Indy has.
