Seconded. I was hanging out at my favorite independent shop whining that I was having a hard time getting brake rotors for my Aprilia through the dealer, who said "hey, it's exotic, you have to expect these things."
Thirty minutes after I left, she called me up- "I found a set, can get them here by tomorrow; I can only get you 15% off what the dealer
wanted for them, though." Note that I didn't even ask her to look- she just did.
I used the 15% discount to buy the entire shop lunch.
