Last time we rode it, we went from Truckee to well above Lassen NP in one day (you have to slab on Hwy 89 through Lassen). We will do that again this time, stopping at Medicine Lake to camp and then heading on to Bend the next day.
From I-80/Truckee on up to Oregon is days 7,8,9 of the Quest.
I am thinking that we will be going up this way on Wed./Thurs. to arrive in Bend on Thurs. evening. |
Hey! I've got a group coming up from SF, I was thinking of trying to get as far as the Klamath Falls area, but Medicine Lake looks like a good destination too.
Any interest in meeting up and ring up to Bend as a group on Thursday?
