Took a little video. Don't know if it anyone can hear the noise. It's just a light ticking.
I removed the tensioner and made sure it wasn't gummed up or anything. Made sure it went all the way out. Then reset it and put it back in. It only clicked about twice before it stopped. So it wouldn't appear the chain is wore or anything. Maybe checking the valves wouldn't hurt. At least would rule that out. Anyone have specs for an 09. My kawi manual hasn't come in yet.
I would just buy a tensioner at this point if I hadn't just dropped over 500 on my klr to get it back in good running condition. So the tensioner will have to wait at least another pay period.
