Remember, more offset means less trail (quicker turning) while less offset means more trail (better stability at speed). Here is an image from a page in a dirt bike manual (the offset values are different). The dot on the top of the steering stem (cap off) at the rear corresponds to the max offset setting. The procedure is to disassemble the forks and loosen the stem at the bottom clamp and rotate the dot to the front to give the smaller offset value.
