There is a life guard memorial on the base of the pier in Hermosa that's very cool:
Now if you look up Southern California in the dictionary, it will say the land where pretty women on the beach in bikinis talk on cell phones:
It doesn't get more Southern California than that. I can just hear the conversation she's having..."so there 's some pervert on the pier taking a picture of me..."
