We cross the Firehole River to reach Oblong Geyser-

Giant Geyser-

Father and son at the Giant Geyser, Yellowstone National Park-

Kristhawee at Mastiff and Giant Geysers-

Grotto Geyser-

Catfish Geyser was bubbling away-

Approaching Castle Geyser-

Shield Spring-

A bit of a slog back to the Old Faithful Inn-

We pass the Old Faithful General Store-

We cross a little stream and Kristhawee wants to know if it's hot... I tell him to stick his finger in and find out

The "Old House" section of the Old Faithful Inn was completed back in 1904 and is a National Historic Landmark.

Truth be told I find the Old Faithful Inn a bit creepy. Is this where they filmed The Shining??

Quite interesting architecture-

We spent about 5 hours exploring the Old Faithful Geyser Basin! So much to see! I'm really glad we went early and beat the heat and crowds.
