I'm on a rented BMW right now in Oregon. I rented it in San Francisco.

I'm almost to the conclusion that it's better to fly in and rent a bike and tour the area as opposed to trying to ride all over the country to get to your destination.

There's bike rentals in every major metroplex.. and they're all over arizona.. Good luck!
