Dunno about the Lucas stuff, but many have reported good results on storing fuel with Stabil fuel stabilizer or SeaFoam additive added. Do it with a fresh full tank of fuel, and make sure to run the bike long enough to circulate the treated fuel throughout the system. An oil change right before storage is a good idea too, and don't start the bike up until spring and its gonna be ridden regularly (short startups cause condensation in the engine). Good idea to but the battery on a battery tender as well. Don't get the cheap ones, they'll boil your battery dry. The genuine DelTran tender is a great product, I own 5 of em
